Description:
As requested by the Facilities Management Division (hereinafter, the “Division”), the Collier County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Services Division (hereinafter, “County”) has issued this Invitation for Qualification (hereinafter, “IFQ”) with the intent of obtaining proposals from interested and qualified vendors in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications stated or attached. The vendor, at a minimum, must achieve the requirements of the Specifications or Scope of Work stated.The results of this solicitation may be used by other County departments once awarded according to the Board of County Commissioners Procurement Ordinance.The selected General Contractor(s) will be responsible for providing complete construction and general contracting services for a wide range of projects and will be responsible for the overall coordination, management, and completion of the project. The General Contractor (GC) provides material, labor, equipment, tools, and services necessary for the project. The GC may hire specialized subcontractors to perform all, none or some portion of the work.The work under this solicitation will be for projects with a value up to $1,000,000. All work over $500,000 will be subject to approval by the Board of County Commissioners. The County has historically spent approximately $5MM to $15MM annually on projects related to General Contractor Services of this type, but this does not necessarily guarantee the same volume of work over the term of the contract or limit the use this contract. Use of this contract for critical projects over $1,000,000 may be authorized in writing by the County Manager when in the best interest of Collier County.
