Description:
GRU is requesting proposals from experienced Licensed Contractors that possess technical expertise in maintenance, alteration, construction and power generation, electrical substations, gate stations, water and wastewater treatment plants, wastewater lift stations, electrical transmission and distribution lines, pipelines, pump stations, and associated civil, mechanical, structural, electrical and instrumentation and controls (I&C) for individual projects. GRU intends to award a minimum of ten (10) continuing construction service contracts for the Work. GRU will be required to solicit three (3) proposals for work valued at or above $300,000.00. The awarded contractors will be expected to submit proposals for projects similar to contractors general line of work. The initial term of the Contract is three (3) years and the Contract will allow for up to two (2) additional two (2) year extensions contingent upon satisfactory performance by the Contractor and mutual written agreement by both parties. GRU may at its sole discretion, elect not to renew any contract with or without cause.
