The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) Milford, Connecticut, requires Genomic DNA Sequencing Services in support of NEFSC scientific missions as specified in the solicitation and statement of work. Requirement is for one base year and one option year.
The purpose of this announcement constitutes a pre-solicitation announcement of a proposed contract action pursuant to FAR 5.204. This is not a solicitation. No response is requested at this time. A formal solicitation will follow this announcement with full details, including a response deadline, complete pricing schedule, statement of work, site visit and instructions to offerors. The formal solicitation is expected to occur on or around 11 August 2023, hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued.

Description of Work: Contractor shall provide all plant, trained labor, equipment, materials, supervision, transportation, permits, insurance, and quality control necessary to provide for 3-Tag-Seq poly A RNA library preparation, Next Generation Sequencing of prepared libraries, and delivery of sequence data for the NMFS/NEFSC Milford Laboratory (212 Rogers Ave., Milford, CT 06460), in accordance with the statement of work.
Period of Performance: Base Year: 15 September 2023 through 14 September 2024. Option Year: 15 September 2024 through 14 September 2025.
