Special Notice Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office 17 (NCO-17), intends to conduct a sole source award action with Getinge USA Sales LLC for the following services: NCO-17 intends to modify Purchase Order 36C25722P0169 to extend the terms of the contract for an additional two (2) years Option Year 3 period of performance is 03/10/2025 - 03/09/2026. Option Year 4 period of performance 03/10/2026 03/09/2027. The following services are to be performed in accordance with the order s Statement of Work: Getinge Care Premium service plan (Cardiopulmonary, Cardiac Assist, Critical Care) for the following equipment: CARDIOHELP-I 90412664 (EE# 154421) Heart-Lung bypass units. CARDIOHELP-I 90412651 (EE# 154422) Heart-Lung bypass units.The proposed actions are needed due to an unsuccessful solicitation posting/synopsis of proposed contract action. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.5. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability in response to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 622110 with a small business size standard of $47 million.THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information by 8:00 A.M., CST, on Friday, February 13, 2025, to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
