Description:
The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA or Department), an agency of the State of Texas, issues this Invitation For Bid (IFB) to solicit responses from qualified Bidders for the Giddings Livestock Auction in Giddings, Texas. TDA will contract one (1) reporter to independently report as part of the USDA Agriculture Marketing Service (AMS) Livestock Market Reporting Program. The individual will be responsible for attending weekly cattle auctions, collecting and reporting data in a timely manner, maintaining communication channels with TDA program staff, USDA AMS program staff, and the operators of the irrespective auctions. Selected contractor must be present onsite at the livestock auction for the duration of the sale, as described in this solicitation. TDA-s objective is to obtain the services that represent the best value for TDA and the State of Texas, according to the terms and conditions of this solicitation.
