Description
The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC) in Gallup, New Mexico, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to Advanced Sterilization Products Inc. to provide preventative maintenance services for the ASP Sterilizer as required by the GIMC Biomedical Engineering Department.
The period of performance will be from April 14, 2025, to April 13, 2026, with four (4) one-year (1) option periods.
IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(ii), specific characteristics of the ASP Sterilizer preventative maintenance service that limit the availability to a sole source are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) agreements. Only this suggested source can furnish the requirements, to the exclusion of other sources, because ASP is the only authorized vendor that services the ASP Sterilizer system, inclusive of associated parts, and is certified in providing OEM preventative maintenance and repair services for its products.
This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete with the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A solicitation will not be issued. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents concerning any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
Any potential sources other than Advanced Sterilization Products Inc. may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Mr. Stephen Silversmith, Contract Specialist, by 10:00 A.M. MT on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
