The United Nations intend to issue a solicitation in the next few months to establish a global system contract for the provision of overhead protection and ballistic observation towers to support the United Nations Peacekeeping Missions. The Global System contract allowing all UN entities to place Purchase Order directly with the contract awarded Vendor (s) as per prices, terms and conditions stated in the final contract for the supply of ballistic observation tower will be awarded for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend for two additional 1-year periods (3+1+1) at the sole discretion of the UN and upon satisfactory performance of the contractor.The United Nations would like to understand some key aspects of the current market situation.This comprehensive questionnaire is designed to gather detailed information and identify solutions from manufacturers and suppliers regarding the suitability and availability of overhead protection and ballistic observation tower options for UN field missions.
