Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) - Eastern Regional Research Center (ERRC) in Wyndmoor, PA requires a Corrosion Grease Tester that measures the ability of lubricating grease and oil products to protect a bearing against corrosion in the presence of either distilled or demineralized water, salt water, or synthetic sea water, and under no applied load.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The reference number for this acquisition is 1232SA25Q0941 and it is being issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-05 (effective 08 July 2025).
