This is a Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

This procurement is being conducted in accordance with regulation at FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

The U. S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Geospatial Research Laboratory (GRL) has a requirement for a Custom Workstation to be performed in accordance with the Description of Requirement (DOR) in the attached RFQ.
REQUIREMENT
The Geospatial Research laboratory needs an autocorrelator device for femtosecond laser pulse diagnostics. The GRL must procure this diagnostic instrument so that they can characterize the femtosecond pulses generated by a laser that produces femtosecond pulses in the spectral range of 630nm to 5000nm. The performance of the autocorrelator needs to meet certain specifications provided in the table below.
