This is a request for prototype proposal utilizing the authority of 10 U.S.C. 4022 - Authority of the DoD to Carry Out Certain Prototype Projects - Establishment of Other Transaction Prototype (OTP) Project(s) with Potential for Follow-on Production Capability.
The purpose is to award up to two (2) Other Transaction Prototype (OTP) Projects. After OTP award, and if determined to be in the best interest of the Government, one (1) follow-on production agreement will be awarded to the vendor whose OTP is determined to be successful. A successful OTP will validate the vendor-s capability to demolish the H2 Heater and associated equipment at Arnold Air Force Base, TN.
NOTE: H2 Heaters Condition Photos and Drawings for the current heater conditions are labeled Distribution D; therefore, interested vendors shall be vetted before receiving the document.
1. The vendor must be registered in SAM.gov with no active exclusions; and
2. The vendor must have a basic NIST SP 800-171 assessment completed in SPRS within the last 3 years.
