TECHNICAL SERVICES TO TROUBLE SHOOT LOAD SHARING ISSUES WITH THE NUMBER 1 SHIPS SERVICE DIESEL GENERATOR. (SSDG)

Background. HAMILTON has found the Fuel Injector fuel pump roller bearing cracked along the camshaft. Rolls Royce Service America (RRSA) is needed to open and inspect the number one main diesel engine (MDE) and provide a CFR with course of action for parts and estimate of repair. Without opening and inspect there is no way to tell what is actually going on in the engine.

Scope. RRSA certified Tech Rep to open and inspect the #1 MDE and supply a CFR to restore back to normal operation. The Tech Rep will be responsible for the following: Providing technical expertise to open and inspect the MDE Provide a clear list of parts and plan for the plan to restore the engine to normal operation Provide a condition found report and Trip report once completed.
GFE: NA Tasks. The contractor shall provide technical expertise for the repair of the MDE to normal operation.
Delivery. Contractor shall provide a final report within 3 days of contract period of performance.
