Description
This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued, and quotations will not be requested.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Purchasing and Contracts on behalf of the Critical Care Medicine Department (CCMD) intends to award a fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Hamilton Medical Inc. located at 201 Edison Way, Unit A, in Reno, Nevada 89502-2305 for a twelve (12) month base year G5 Mechanical Ventilators Service Contract and four (4) option years.
The Critical Care Medicine Department has a requirement to provide a service agreement for four (4) Hamilton Medical G5 Mechanical Ventilators. CCMD operates an intensive care unit that provides hemodynamic monitoring; ventilator support, renal replacement; and cardiovascular support. The equipment is used for critically ill patients. The ventilators have been configured with the Clinical Center-s electronic medical record system, Clinical Research Information System (CRIS). Hamilton Medical is the original and sole manufacturer of the Medical G5 Mechanical Ventilators. Hamilton Medical does not have any authorized third-party service providers. Hamilton Medical will supply original equipment manufacturer parts, 24-hour technical support, field service support, and preventative maintenance services. If an unauthorized service provider performs any services on the ventilators, it may violate any warranties and may potentially put patients and NIH employee users at risk. Ensuring the ventilators remain operational and functioning in accordance with the manufacturer-s recommendations is critical to patient care.
