GENERAL:
This is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought. There is no solicitation at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a Request for Quotes (RFQ). Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any information or costs incurred. All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the interested party-s expense. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued.
PURPOSE OF THE RFI:
The 144th Fighter Wing (FW) is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to meet our requirement for a Hangar Door Repair. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
BACKGROUND:
The 144th Fighter Wing is seeking repair services for the hangar doors in BLDG 100. The automatic doors on the right-hand side are no longer functioning and in need of various repairs. Repairs may include the following:
Replacing steel cable Replacing motor and chain Realigning doors Lubricating and cleaning door tracks Inspecting and testing door functionality
