- The Mississippi Department of Health (MSDH) is seeking the most current scoring the practical examination booklets and materials for practical exam for the State of Mississippi Hearing Aid Specialists.The Bureau of Professional Licensure has the statutory responsibility of testing for licensure those who want to become licensed hearing aid specialists. The examination used must have two parts1) a written sections and 2) a practical examination where an applicant must demonstrate proficiency in several practice areas.A practical examination booklet (and materials for the practical exam) are required per testing candidate. Depending on the number of candidates for each quarterly exam, it can be anywhere from 1 booklet to 6 booklets per exam (maximum estimated for 1 year = 24 booklets; maximum estimated for 5 years = 120 booklets).
