Description
THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT FOR SINGLE SOURCE AWARD AND NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION.The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 08, located at 8875 Hidden River Pkwy Suite 160 Tampa, FL 33637 is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to inform industry contractors of the Government s intent to execute a Sole Source Award under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures to SDVOSB Thundercat Technology, LLC. The anticipated award is in compliance with FAR 13.106.1(b), which permits sole sourcecontracts when only one source can supply the required supplies or services at the necessaryquality level due to their unique or highly specialized nature. The contract falls under the firmfixed-price category according to NAICS Code 541519, with a small business size standard of150 employees. A Sole Source Justification has been duly prepared. The contract's baseperformance period is slated from 08/04/2025 09/15/2025. This announcement does notsolicit competitive proposals or offers, and no solicitation package will be provided. Thedecision not to engage in competitive procurement rests solely with the Government. Anyresponses to this notice should present clear and convincing evidence that competition wouldbe beneficial to the Government. Additionally, responsible sources are invited to submit acapabilities statement demonstrating, by a preponderance of the evidence, that anothercontractor can fulfill a service contract for Pentax Medical HD Video processors at James A. Haley Veteran s Hospital. Responses are required to be received by 3 PM EDT, 08/01/2025. Please note that no telephone inquiries or emails seeking clarification will be entertained.
