THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.

The 366 Contracting Squadron (366 CONS) of the 366 Fighter Wing (366 FW) is conducting market research to determine the availability, interest, and capability of potential business sources qualified and able to compete for a contract to provide the following at Mountain Home AFB, ID 83648:

Rental Equipment.

Pipeline Trencher. Quantity: One (1), (This is a Brand Name or Equal Requirement. Brand Name information is for reference only) Contractors may propose an Or Equal Product meeting the salient characteristics of each item.
Salient Characteristics: CAT T1055III or equivalent. Caterpillar C13 ACERT Tier 3; 415 HP; 32” wide trench; Discharge higher 64”-78”

Government Projected (Estimated Usage) per month: 960 Hours total. Approx 240 Hrs per month.

Training: The contractor shall perform and complete training for the Pipeline Trencher within the first week of equipment delivery.

Tracked Excavator. Quantity: One (1), (This is a Brand Name or Equal Requirement. Brand Name information is for reference only) Contractors may propose an Or Equal Product meeting the salient characteristics of each item.
Salient Characteristics: John Deere 245 or equivalent. P-Tier Mid-Size Excavator; 150 -190 HP; 32” Bucket; Digging Depth Required 21ft.

ATTACHEMENTS: List equipment attachments AND Salient Characteristics for each item.

FX225 Hydraulic Hammer or equivalent: Impact energy class, 4,250 ft lbs. 2,350 - 2,610 psi (Acceptable psi range.) 33 - 50 GPM (Acceptable GPM range.) 350 - 550 BPM (Adjustable blows per minute.) HP135 II Compactor or equivalent: Minimum 28” - Maximum 32” wide.
