- Henderson County Public Schools (Hcps) Is Seeking A Qualified And Compassionate Crisis Counselor To Provide School-Based Crisis Intervention Services To Students In Need. This Position Is Part Of A District-Wide Initiative To Support The Mental Health And Well-Being Of Students, Funded Through A Grant Aimed At Addressing The Growing Need For Crisis Counseling Services. The Crisis Counselor Will Work Directly With Students, Staff, And Families To Provide Immediate Support During Times Of Emotional Or Psychological Distress. This Role Will Require Flexibility, As The Counselor Will Rotate Between Schools Across The District, Ensuring All Students Have Access To The Crisis Services They Require.
