Executive SummaryTheTexas Health and Human Services Commission (“HHSC”) is seeking a qualifiedContractor to provide monitoring services at state-operated facilities(“Centers”) serving individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilitiesto ensure compliance with standards set forth with the Settlement Agreementbetween the State of Texas (“State”) and the U.S. Department of Justice (“DOJ”).Scope of WorkContractor shall ensureconsistent and fair monitoring of the State Centers including the provision ofcomprehensive monitoring activities, onsite monitoring, oversight, developmentand implementation of training processes, technical assistance, and implementingquality improvement and assurance systems.
