Description:
The Town of Hingham (the Owner and Awarding Authority) is accepting sealed bids for the General Building Construction work related to the re-roofing of the existing Fire Station #3, located at 847 Main Street, Hingham, MA 02043. Bids for the Work are subject to the provisions of General Laws Chapter 149, Sections 44A- 44J inclusive, as amended and Section 39M through 39R of Chapter 30 as amended. Regulations governing bidding procedure as set forth in above mentioned General Laws must be followed. In the event of any inconsistencies between any of the provisions of these Bidding Documents and of the cited statute, anything herein to the contrary notwithstanding, the provisions of the said statute shall control.Total Project Estimate: $350,000.00Anticipated Commencement Month, January 2026. This bid posting contains all information for the Hingham Fire Station #3 Re-Roofing Project. NOTE ON FILED SUB-BIDS PAINTING AND ROOFING: due to the OpenGov system configuration, it does not support two different bid due dates, and sub-bids need to be submitted and due before the General Bid deadline in order for General Bidders to choose and incorporate the sub-bidders pricing into their General Bid and make the general bid complete.In order to submit the filed sub-bids through the OpenGov system, we have posted an Associated Project, titled \"Hingham Fire Station #3 Re-Roofing Project: Filed Sub-Bidders\" which must be used by Filed Sub-Bidders to respond to and upload their bids.
