Description:
The County of Greenville hereby provides notice, pursuant to the County Procurement Ordinance Section 7-309 Sole Source Procurement, that it intends to award without competition a contract to Kofile, Inc. for historical deed book preservation. The sole source is based on continuity and compatibility of past preservation projects. It is also based on the use of Kofiles patented Lay Flat Pockets (U.S. Patent No. 7,943,220 B1, issued May 17, 2011) for the consistency of the past projects.Any actual or prospective bidder, offeror, contractor, or subcontractor aggrieved in connection with the intended award or award of this sole source contract, shall notify the Greenville County Procurement Director in writing of its protest within seven (7) calendar days of the date this notice is posted. A protest must be in writing, filed with the Greenville County Procurement Director, and set forth the grounds of the protest and the relief requested with enough particularity to give notice of the issues to be decided. The protest must be received by the Greenville County Procurement Director within the time provided above. Days are calculated as provided in Greenville County Ordinance Section 7-701(1).
