THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. THIS IS NOT THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, NOR INVITATION FOR BID.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Detroit District intends to solicit for Holland Inner Harbor Maintenance Dredging and Weir Repair, located in Holland, Michigan. The project work includes, but is not limited to mobilize to the Holland, Michigan Inner Harbor and dredge from STA 179+00 to 218+50 and from STA 284+00 to STA 311+00. Place dredged material as shown on the plans after completing pipe-lining weir repair as shown on the plans thus allowing for continued compliance with existing Water Quality Certification. Demobilize when dredging work is completed.
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 237990 (Exception), Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a small business size standard of $37 million (dredging) in average annual receipts.
The Information for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued as a 100% set-aside for small businesses.
General Information:
The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract.
Magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
Anticipated Solicitation Posting Date: April/May 2025.
Anticipated Proposal Due Date: May/June 2025.
The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via the PIEE Solicitation Module and/or SAM.gov which is free of charge when the requirement is advertised. Hard copy documents will NOT be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this pre-solicitation notice or the upcoming solicitation. Please note the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period.
