- VTA seeks proposals (each, a “Proposal”) from qualified firms (each, a “Proposer”), who are knowledgeable of all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding the cleanup and remediation of temporary or homeless encampment sites to provide comprehensive turnkey clean-up and remediation services for temporary/homeless encampment sites located on VTA right-of-way property as assigned and directed by VTA(“Services”). This includes site assessment, debris removal, hazardous waste handling, vegetation abatement, documentation, and coordination with VTA and other public agencies. Work may occur in challenging environments such as steep embankments, near waterways, or adjacent to transit infrastructure. The goal is to support community well-being, maintain public safety, environmental integrity, and accessibility by removing unauthorized encampments and remedying affected areas.
