NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Modesto, County of Stanislaus, State of California, will receive electronic sealed Bids for the following work: Project Title.The City of Modesto Housing Rehabilitation Program provides financial assistance to eligible homeowners for the repair and improvement of their properties. Funded through federal resources, the program is designed to correct health, safety, and code deficiencies, extend the useful life of homes, and improve overall living conditions for low- to moderate-income households. The program plays a critical role in preserving Modesto-s existing housing stock, preventing deterioration, and supporting long-term neighborhood stability.To meet increasing program demand, the City is seeking qualified and properly licensed general contractors to participate by bidding on rehabilitation projects. Contractors working with the program have the opportunity to support community revitalization, expand their scope of work, and build long-term partnerships with the City.Typical scopes of work may include, but are not limited to: roofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC replacement, water heater upgrades, window and door replacements, accessibility modifications, structural and code corrections, interior and exterior repairs, and other work necessary to bring homes into compliance with local and federal housing standards.
