Description:
Description : The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is soliciting proposals from firms that are able to provide consulting services to assist and support CDPH's Human Resources Division (HRD) by designing and developing workforce planning and analytics tools for two of CDPH's cohorts. The contractor will assess CDPH Workforce and Succession plans, initiatives, and the state of its workforce; develop a data-driven strategy and workforce tools to identify optimal workforce capacity and to identify, prioritize, and resolve workforce gaps; and integrate best practices with specific interventions into an actionable roadmap for the application of planning and analytics tools to all CDPH cohorts. Workforce strategies and tools should support an agile, strategic workforce capable of adapting to the state's evolving public health needs (e.g. surge deployment and resource sharing in areas from data science, technology and disease surveillance to marketing and communications. CDPH intends to make a single contract award to the most responsive and responsible firm offering the highest scoring bid. This procurement is open to all eligible firms and/or individuals that meet the qualification requirements, including commercial businesses, nonprofit organizations, State or public universities (including auxiliary organizations) and other entities.
