Description
Work includes, but is not limited to: provide labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to complete a xeriscape landscaping project for the buildings and grounds at the Federal Building in Huron, South Dakota through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). The project will replace approximately 41,497 square feet of existing sod forming turf grass and the end state of the project is to provide a xeriscape landscaping that will greatly reduce water use, labor, and chemical inputs over the existing turf grass lawn. The contractor will be responsible for supplying and planting of perennial, native and nonnative, non-invasive, drought tolerant plants such as grasses, flowers, broadleaved plants, and shrubs. The contractor must also reconfigure the existing underground sprinkler head and bubbler system to service existing trees, shrubs, and the new plantings. The work shall be completed within 120 calendar days after the notice to proceed. The project-s estimated cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
The solicitation will be issued on or around December 31, 2024, at https://sam.gov/, with offers due on January 30, 2025. Anticipated award date is March 14, 2025. Information regarding a site visit will be announced in the solicitation. A site visit is recommended. This procurement is being set-aside for small businesses only. To be eligible for award, contractors must be REGISTERED and ACTIVE with the System for Award Management (SAM) at sam.gov. All responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered.
