• The Citys Division of Emergency Management will be hosting an external Hurricane Preparedness Expo for residents, business owners, and community partners on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Collaboratory and we want YOU to be a vendor! This is a great opportunity to educate the public on how your department operates during a response and what they can expect from the City. A reservation form is required and essential for participation; use this link to register as a vendor https://forms.office.com/g/TLM8X9ZLNXby Monday, April 21st to confirm your interest. We will follow up with any additional information or clarify questions or concerns as needed. Some important things to note:This is not to be confused with the internal Storm Ready Fair for staff! There is a separate intake (https://forms.office.com/g/9XjhJT4HqW) for that. There is no cost to vendors for participating.Vendors can have literature, promotional give-away items as well as snack items at their table; please indicate on the intake form what you will be providing.Each participant will have a 6-foot table with 2 chairs. You can bring your tablecloths, banners, and backdrops.We have limited electrical service at this venue (please note special requirements on your reservation form).Please, NO plastic water bottles, as this is a state-of-the art “green” facility. There are refill stations for reusable bottles if you bring one.Ifyou need to mail anything to be brought the morning of the event, please note it on your reservation form.The Collaboratory will be open to vendors as followsfor set up on June 7th, 2025, from 10:00 am -11:00 am and tear-down will be immediately following the event from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm.FREE parking in the lot behind the Collaboratory (where vendors will enter to set up.)*Please contact Jennifer Schmidt with any questions at 239-841-4189 or jschmidt@fortmyers.gov.
