Description:
The City of Apopka is seeking Bids from qualified firm(s) (Supplier/Contractor), for Project Title, Project ID to be received no later than Proposal Submission Date at Proposal Submission Time. Late responses will not be accepted. The City intends to award a contract to qualified Bidders. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all irregularity in any bid.In an effort to maintain consistency throughout our properties, the City has a preference for Trane, and Mitsubishi. Work awarded under this Bid shall be divided into two (2) Categories. Contractors may be awarded for categories under this Bid.Category #1 shall include HVAC Repairs and Emergency Services- The City will award contracts to the two lowest qualified bidders designating them as the Primary and Secondary contractor. for HVAC Repair and Emergency Services Pricing Table for Line Item 1. The contractor must be available and be able to complete job within the same day, unless specified and approved by City staff. If City staff and the contractor determines that the HVAC unit needs to be replaced, the original contractor will be issued a change order to finish job. Category #2 shall include HVAC Replacement Services - All qualified bidders who apply for Category #2, will be awarded a contract. The Secondary Quoting Process based on total lump sum will be utilized to determine award of each individual project.The City will attempt to get quotes from all awarded Contractors in Category #2 through a secondary quoting process. Category #2 may require Contractors to have bonding capacity, if the cost exceeds $200,000. Contractors are required to submit a letter of surety indicating their bonding capacity, with their submission to this solicitation.
