The Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI) requires the purchase of i2Software with a firm fixed price (FFP) a Base Year (BY) plus four Option Year (OY) contract.i2 enables law enforcement professionals to create evidence-driven knowledge graphs. Thisallows for the visual representation of relationships between suspects and other people oforganization in their criminal networks. By using i2 technology, investigators can buildcomprehensive case files and uncover critical information that may otherwise remain hidden.Without I2 Analyst Notebook CI will have reduced capacity to analyze data using knowledgegraphs. In addition, CI will have reduced capacity collaborating with other Federal LawEnforcement that use i2 and i2 files.While there are numerous tools that can produce knowledge graphs, i2 is common place inFederal Law Enforcement. Numerous partners in DOJ, DHS and other agencies build largecase files using i2.
