Description
The work to be performed under this contract will be conducted at various locations on all 10Lakes/Pools under the jurisdiction of the Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway and Okatibbee Lake.Counties included in Alabama are Greene, Sumter, Marengo, and Pickens County. Countiesincluded in Mississippi are Lowndes, Clay, Noxubee, Monroe, Tishomingo, Lee, Prentiss,Itawamba and Lauderdale County. Work items that will be accomplished utilizing this contractconsist of 1) waterfowl impoundment construction, 2) road construction and maintenance, 3)clearing of forest openings, 4) clearing of fire lanes for control burning, 5) reforestation, 6)agricultural plantings (food plots), 7) various forestry activities 8) disposal area maintenance, 9)levee construction and maintenance, 10) Maintenance of Federal Flood Control Projects, and 11)other work as directed by the Contracting Officer or the Authorized Representative of theContracting Officer, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District.
