Description:
Description : Purpose and Description of Services: the Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms to provide Water Testing and Reverse Osmosis System Maintenance Services. Bids must address all services described in Exhibit A entitled, ¿Scope of Work¿ that is included in the Proposed Agreement Forms/Exhibits section of this IFB. Exhibit A contains a detailed description of the services and work to be performed, as a result of this IFB including those terms in the referenced exhibits.CHP will not hold a mandatory bid walk-through for this contract. However, bidders may schedule an optional site visit by contacting Sergeant Robert Lehman at the CHP Gilroy Area Office via email at RLehman@chp.ca.gov or over the phone at (408) 427-0740 prior to submitting the bid. CHP Gilroy Area Office is located at 12000 South Valley Freeway, San Martin, CA 95046.There is no DVBE mandatory participation, incentive only. 1.License Requirements: License Requirement: Contractors state license board (CSLB) C-55, Water Conditioning Contractor, and T-2 Treatment Operator Certificate and a D-1 Distribution Operators Certificate issued by the California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB), Division of Drinking Water. 2.DIR Registration: Contractors and its subcontractors must be registered with the DIR Pursuant to California Labor Code Sections 1770, 1773 and 1773.1.
