- Description : Contractor shall provide the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) all expertise, labor,tools, equipment, materials, personnel safety gear and safety training, travel, and incidentalsnecessary to produce and deliver native plant container stock.The services shall be performed at Contractor¿s facility after collection and prior to delivery. In thiscontext "deliver/delivery¿ means to provide the container stock as defined in this Agreement.Caltrans will be responsible for picking up the plants from Contractor¿s facility when they areready.The location of the facility shall be within the geographic jurisdiction of one of the followingnorthern California Counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Humboldt, Lake, Marin, Mendocino,Monterey, Napa, San Benito, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, orSonoma.Plant material used in the propagation of container stock shall be collected as close to theproject locations as possible, see Proposed Form of Agreement, Project Location Map,Attachment A, and from Sonoma and/or Mendocino counties within 5 miles of the coast (partsof Seed Zones 094 & 095) as defined in the Proposed Form of Agreement, Collection AreaMap, Attachment B.Refer to the Proposed Form of Agreement, Exhibit A, which is attached to this IFB, for a morecomplete description of services.The documents and files attached to this solicitation do not have any updates for digital accessibility at this time.
