Description : Invitation for Bid P2580020 Hazardous Waste RemovalThe California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is seeking a qualified business to provide hazardous waste removal services.The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is tasked with excellent stewardship of the lands it holds in trust for the people of California. Like other public lands, CDFW properties are often inundated with trash and other refuse from illegal dumping, unauthorized camping, and other unauthorized activities. Hazardous materials pose a health and safety risk to the public and pollute the soil and water inhabited by the wildlife and fish that CDFW is entrusted to protect. Stewardship of public lands may involve the cleanup of hazardous materials. CDFW staff do not include classifications which possess the training and experience necessary to safely handle, remove, and dispose of hazardous materials.The overall objective of this Agreement is to maintain CDFW lands in an unpolluted state by removing and disposing of hazardous materials left from illegal dumping, unauthorized camping, and other unauthorized activities.
