The City Of Atlanta's Department Of Procurement ("dop") On Behalf Of The Atlanta Department Of Aviation ("doa") Is Seeking Qualified Contractors To Complete Sixteen (16) Separate Work Areas That Serve As The Baseline For This Scope. The Primary Scope Of Work Will Be To Extend The Runway (rw) 26r Runway Safety Area 200' To The East, Including The Relocation Of The Rw 8l Localizer And Adjustments To The Rw 26r Malsr 1,000¿-station Which Are Required To Support The Relocation Of The Localizer And Extension Of The Rw 8l Rsa 100¿ To The West. The Remaining Scope Includes Grading And Drainage Improvements To Eliminate Ponding And Erosion Issues Along Rw 8l/26r, Rw 8r/26l, And Associated Taxiways And Relocating Objects Outside The Runway And Taxiway Safety Areas.
