This announcement provides notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order and is not a request for competitive quotes.
Fleet Readiness Center Aviation Support Equipment (FRC ASE), Solomons, Maryland 20688 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Viavi (Cage Code: 6UW26) on a sole source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to award a single firm fixed price (FFP) award.
The services for IFR 6000 AVIONICS RAMP TEST SETs include inspection, calibration; and repair of the end item as necessary. All repairs will be made using original manufactured replacement parts and the units will be returned to fully operational Ready for Issue (RFI) condition.
Although FRC ASE is not seeking competitive quotes, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement. Any submissions received by the Response Date in the General Information section of this notice will be reviewed. The information received will be solely considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
