The U.S Consulate General, Frankfurt provides the following Pre-Solicitation Notice regarding the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for:
ILEA Admin Building Roof Replacement
U.S. EMBASSY SAN SALVADOR, EL SALVADOR
The Regional Procurement Support Office in Frankfurt, Germany, intends to issue a Firm Fixed-Price Design/Build Contract in the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2026.
The offeror shall provide construction services, contract coordination, and supervision, including but not limited to the management and construction necessary to meet the requirements of this contract within the established timeframe.
The U.S. Government requires the services of a contractor for removal and replacement of the roof of the 3-story Administration Building located on the ILEA/San Salvador campus.
The Administrative building is a three-story facility with mostly structural concrete exterior wall cladding. The roofs vary in size and composition and were installed circa 2011. The Work includes roof replacements and repairs for the Administrative building located at the ILEA campus in San Salvador, El Salvador and includes selective demolition, replacement and repairs of roofing systems, roof drainage modifications, various electrical and mechanical connections associated with roof mounted mechanical systems, various modifications to the eaves and rake overhangs, modifications to doors that access the 4th floor roof of Administrative Building and other improvements.
Pursuant to Subpart 36.204 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the estimated magnitude for the entire project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 U.S. Dollars (Note: the prescribed FAR range determinations provide relatively wide ranges only, in order to give potential offerors a very general orientation as to the magnitude of the work.
