THE SYNOPSIS IS BEING AMENDED TO INCLUDE A REVISED LIST IN SUPPORT OF THE IMPROVED BRADLEY ACQUISITION (IBAS) WEAPON SYSTEM. THE GOVERNMENT PROPOSES TO ACQUIRE 1240-01-442-4825, 1240-01-462-8519, 1240-01-537-0134, 1240-01-581-5592, 1240-01-617-7635, 1290-01-461-9555, 1430-01-571-5812, 5855-01-462-9048, 5855-01-463-4579, 5865-01-721-1161, 5865-01-721-1364, 5998-01-462-8499, 5998-01-502-9342, 5998-01-591-4248, 5998-01-645-7357, 5998-01-645-7359, 5998-01-645-7361, 5998-01-645-7362, 5998-01-721-1155, 6130-01-471-4569, 6130-01-543-3461 AND 7025-01-463-4586 ON A FIRM FIXED PRICE (FFP) INDEFINITE DELIVERY CONTRACT.
FIRST ARTICLE TESTING MAY BE APPLICABLE TO ANY PARTS LISTED AND CAN BE IMPLEMENTED AT THE REQUEST OF ENGINEERING SUPPORT ACTIVITY (ESA). THE REQUIREMENT FOR FIRST ARTICLE MAY BE WAIVED, IN WHOLE OR IN PART, BY THE GOVERNMENT, PROVIDED THAT SUFFICIENT INFORMATION IS PROVIDED TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE REQUEST IS TO BE APPROVED. ALL WAIVER REQUESTS REQUIRE A FIRST ARTICLE WAIVER WORKSHEET TO BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED TO THE GOVERNMENT ALONG WITH ALL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION. THE WORKSHEET WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE BUYER UPON REQUEST. NO REQUESTS WILL BE CONSIDERED IF THE WORKSHEET AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION ARE NOT SUBMITTED TO THE GOVERNMENT. SUBMISSION OF THE FAT WAIVER REQUEST (AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION) TO THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE WAIVER WILL BE GRANTED.
