Bid Synopsis: The purpose of this document is to provide interested parties with information to enable them to prepare and submit a proposal for Independent Initial Assessment services for the Wisconsin Department of Children and families (DCF) Division of Milwaukee Child Protective Services (DMCPS). By, Wisconsin Stat. § 48.981(3)(d)2 an independent initial assessment (i.e. independent investigation) is required whenever a Child Protective Service (CPS) authority receives a report of suspected abuse or neglect by an agent or employee of the agency or an individual whose relationship with the agency introduces substantial probability of bias. To be eligible to submit a response to this Request for Proposal (RFP), Proposers must not have any contacts with Milwaukee County child welfare child placing agencies who are receiving placement of youth served by DMCPS. In addition, Proposers must not provide out-of-home care (OHC) placement to children served by DMCPS. The State as represented by DCF intends to use the results of this RFP to award a single contract for Independent Initial Assessment services in Milwaukee County. Questions should be submitted as described in the RFP Document section 1.7. Do not submit questions through eSupplier.
