NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on or before Response Submission Time, on Response Submission Date, the City of Caldwell, Idaho will receive bids through OpenGovhttps://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cityofcaldwell/projectsfor the Indian Creek at Ustick Bridge project. All bid proposals shall be submitted online through the Citys OpenGov Procurement portal prior to the bid due date and time. No late bids will be accepted.Bids will be electronically opened at Response Submission Time, on Response Submission Date and publicly available on-line on the City-s and OpenGov-s website immediately following the bid opening. Specific bidding instructions through OpenGov are available using the link above.The Project includes the following Work:Bid Schedule 1: Construction of a new reinforced concrete box culvert structure on Indian Creek at Ustick Road, to replace an existing corrugated metal culvert at that location; including excavation, creek bypass, dewatering, demolition, utility relocations, drilled piles, subgrade preparation, new cast-in-place concrete box culvert construction, backfill, and surface restoration.Bid Schedule 2: Construction of Ustick Road Widening improvements from Station 34+60 to Station 42+00.Action will be taken by the City within thirty (30) days of the opening date and the successful bidder will be required to enter into a written contract with the City within ten (10) days after Notice of Acceptance of his bid.Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the total bid, which will be forfeited to the City if the bidder fails to enter into the contract. Checks of unsuccessful bidders will be returned immediately following the award of the contract or 30 days after opening, if no award is made. All contractors submitting bids are required to have a valid Idaho Public Works License and to include the number on their submitted Bid.
