Pre-Solicitation NoticeThe Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 has a need for INDUSTRIAL HYGENE SERVICE. The contractor shall provide all transportation, material hardware and parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision, and technical expertise to provide the services. The solicitation shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13.Place of Performance: Asheville VA Medical Center 1100 Tunnel Road Asheville, NC 28805, Asheville NC 28805. Period of Performance: Period of Performance for the resultant contract will be a Base plus 4 option periods beginning on 1 Mar 2025 28 Feb 2026 in strict accordance with all schedules, specification, terms, and conditions and provisions of the contract solicitation.Type of Set-Aside: This acquisition is a SDVOSB set-aside. The applicable NAICS is 541620, Environmental Consulting Services Testing Laboratories and Services, with a size standard of $19 Million. This requirement will be solicited as a SDVOSB set aside.Contract Type: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation.A formal Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about 3 Feb 2025 via Contract Opportunities website via SAM.gov. All potential offerors are responsible for monitoring and downloading all documents including amendments at the SAM.gov website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
