The purpose of Amendment (0008) is to address the following:
1. Bid Opening Date Revision:
The bid opening date has been revised from August 28, 2025, to September 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM local time. The location for the bid opening remains unchanged: Network Contracting Office 10, 3140 Governor's Place Blvd, Suite 210, Kettering, OH 45429.
2. Revised VA Response to RFI #70:
Inform Contractors the original VA Response to RFI #70 was revised. The revised response was published in the RFI Tracker on August 22, 2025, as an attachment to Amendment 0007. Please note the revised response was not identified using in red font.
3. Publication of Addendum 2 - Revision 1:
Addendum 2 - Revision 1 is now published and available.
4. Publication of Missing Addendum 2 Drawings:
The following drawings, previously missing, are now published:
Drawing No. AS101, First Floor Plan (Rev 1). Drawing No. AS111, First Floor Reflected Ceiling Plan (Rev 1).5. Clarification regarding Moldy Pipe Insulation.
All moldy pipe insulation specified in the project documentation, including both the project specifications and drawings, is included in the quantities for ACM (Asbestos-Containing Material) pipe insulation abatement. Additionally, all pipe insulation within Building 408 is to be abated.
