The California National Guard intends to issue an Invitation for Bids to award a single firm-fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision necessary to perform and complete the “Building 700 Chiller” at the 146th Airlift Wing. The project consists placement of a concrete housekeeping slab, placement/mounting of the new chiller unit, and the required connections to include all mechanical piping, fittings, and associated electrical components, and testing of the chiller unit. The anticipated contract duration will be 180 calendar days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list.
This project is 100% set-aside for certified participants of the WOSB program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238990, with a small business size standard of $19,000,000. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000.
The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on-or-about 18 Aug 2025. The location will be provided in the formal solicitation. A site visit and pre-bid conference will not be held for this effort.
The bid opening date is tentatively planned for on-or-about 17 Sep 2025. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation.
The solicitation and any technical and/or engineering data for this solicitation will be distributed using the Contract Opportunities module of the SAM website.
