The type of solicitation to issue will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made by the Government for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis of a follow up information. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price contract.The National Park Service, ConOps West, has a requirement to Install a Buried Filtered Water Tank at Haleakala National Park (HALE), Hawaii. Scope of Work:The Work consists of providing a new partially buried filtered cast-in place concrete water tank of approximately 50,000 gallons, a bypass water system, a turnout for service vehicles to park parallel to the existing service road, and associated distribution piping, fittings and appurtenances. The service vehicle turnout will be constructed in one of two Bid Options. Exterior tank painting will be provided as a third Bid Option. See attached Construction Specifications and Construction Drawings.Place of performance will be Haleakala National Park (HALE), Hawaii.The acquisition is subject to the North American industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction.
