THIS IS AN INFORMATIONAL NOTICE ONLY
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) has a construction requirement for a turn-key product including proper installation of all material and equipment per manufacturer-s recommendations for insulating an existing brick building and installing furring to support new 22-gauge exterior metal wall paneling. The work includes surface preparation, insulation installation, furring attachment, and metal panel installation to increase the thermal efficiency of Building 2 at the NPARL site. The contractor shall work with the site personnel to ensure project is accomplished in a timely manner, at USDA - ARS, 1500 North Central Avenue, Sidney, MT 59270. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and supervision performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for this requirement. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
USDA-ARS will issue a Firm Fixed Price construction purchase order. The Request for Quotation (RFQ), 1232SA25Q0150, may be issued on or around 07/30/2025.
The upcoming solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) Number 2025-04 dated 06/11/2025. The requirement will be a small business set-aside, under NAICS Code 238170 with a size standard of $19M.
