This is a pre-solicitation notice.
The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center (JWDSRC) located in Stoneville, MS., has a requirement demolish existing natural gas boilers, supply and install new natural gas boilers for Buildings #5 and #6. The work includes but is not limited to: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and professional services necessary to demo (4) existing Lochinvar Boilers and (4) Bell and Gossett Pumps and install new Boilers and Pumps, as per the Statement of Work (SoW). The project is located at the USDA-ARS-SEA, JWDSRC, 141 Experiment Station Road, Stoneville, MS. 38776. The contractor shall provide a detailed technical proposal and detailed cost breakdown for the entire project.
USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220 with a size standard of $19.0 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions.
This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on or about January 09, 2025. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
