- The Orange County Transportation Authority (Authority) invites qualified Contractors to provide services for installation of battery-electric vehicle (BEV) chargers and related work at Irvine Construction Circle Bus Base located at 16281 Construction Circle West, Irvine, CA 92606. The work under this project is further described below.Demolition related work to facilitate new construction, which includes removal and legal disposal of materials.Earthwork related work, which includes trenching/excavation, disposal of excess soil, subgrade preparation, backfill, and compaction.Installation of OCTA-furnished BEV chargers related items.Installation of data receivers (Fleetwatch FR200) related items.Installation of panelboard, transformer, lockable hinged door (communication) panel, support frames/tubes, receptacles, ethernet switches, electrical and data conduits, wires (conductors) and ethernet cables, grounding, and related items.Construction of concrete related work, which includes reinforced concrete foundations and related items.Placement of surface gravel related work in areas adjacent to BEV chargers.Installation of bollards, wheel stops, and related items. Limited asphalt paving related work and application of pavement striping and markings.Coordination with equipment manufacturers regarding pre-commissioning and all other related requirements.Energize, startup testing, and commissioning related work of installed equipment.Any and all other related work.
