Special NoticeSpecial NoticeThe Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue sole-source firm-fixed priced contract to large business and OEM ICP Medical, LLC., 13720 Rider Trail North St. Louis, MO 63045. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) on behalf of the Tennessee Valley VA Medical Centers (Nashville and Murfreesboro Locations), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with ICP Medical, LLC. located at 13720 Rider Trail North St. Louis, MO 63045. The rationale basis for the sole source acquisition is that ICP Medical, LLC., is the OEM and only certified trained vendor to perform the specialized task as requested by the customer. Additionally, ICP Medical, LLC. is the only vendor who is capable of providing the requested services without voiding the established warranty outlined in this document. On 01/16/2025, a Request for Quotations using a SDVOSB set-aside closed for this requirement. We received one offer for this requirement from an SDVOSB vendor, however, upon review, we found that the offer was not only fair and reasonable to the government, but it also would void the established warranty details. Additionally, we received notification from OEM ICP Medical, LLC., explaining that their company is the only company who is certified and trained to install the specialized equipment.
