Description:
The Department of Public Works is advertising for bids to construct the Installation of Protected Left-Turn Signal Phasing at Four Intersections. This project is funded by State Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) grant funds. Project ID No. H10-12-002.The work to be done consists of the upgrade of four (4) existing traffic signals for left-turn phasing operation improvements. This shall include installation of traffic signal poles; foundations; signal heads; signal controller and cabinet; conduit; pull boxes; conductors; accessible pedestrian signals; traffic signing; removal and reconstruction of ADA access ramps; concrete sidewalk and all additional work necessary to properly construct the proposed improvements, in accordance with the contract documents. The project also includes roadway improvements at the intersection of Dale Avenue and Orange Avenue. The goal of this project is to provide for the safe and efficient movement of vehicle and pedestrians at the project intersections.
