Notice of Intent to Single Source - Corrective Maintenance III (CMC III) Contract Extension in Support of the Federal Aviation Administration Facility Security Risk Management Program Office.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award single source contract extension to extend the period of performance of contract DTFAWA-17-C-00040 to KBR Wyle Services, LLC by 12 months.
In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA. This procurement is single sourced to continue corrective maintenance support to the FAA-s physical security systems to protect FAA employees, facilities, and the National Airspace System (NAS) while the recompete for the replacement contract is solicited and awarded.
This contract extension will be awarded to KBR Wyle Services, LLC located at 22309 EXPLORATION DRIVE, LEXINGTON PARK, MD 20653 under NAICS 561621 and is not available for full and open competition.
