• Description:
• This Special Notice is issued to comply with eFiling requirements and in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5 to publicize the U.S. Embassy Kuwait-s intent to establish one or more Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs).
  A BPA is not a contract or purchase order. Rather, it is an agreement that sets forth terms and conditions for future purchases, allowing the Government to place orders (calls) as needed. BPAs streamline the acquisition process by reducing administrative costs and paperwork associated with repetitive purchases. All BPAs will be established and administered in accordance with applicable procurement laws and regulations.
  Scope of Requirement:
  The U.S. Embassy Kuwait intends to establish one or more BPAs with qualified and licensed local vendors capable of supplying high-quality materials, equipment, and products across multiple sectors, including but not limited to:
  Plumbing, Irrigation, and Mechanical supplies
  Electrical and Lighting (e.g., switches, cables, lighting fixtures)
  Tools (power tools, carpentry, masonry, and heavy-duty tools)
  Construction Materials (e.g., cement, steel, aggregates, paints, insulation)
  Mechanical Equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, HVAC components, plumbing fixtures)
  Safety and Industrial Supplies (e.g., PPE, fire protection equipment, industrial tools)
  The anticipated BPA performance period may be up to five (5) years. Total value of all awards under this BPA shall not exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), currently set at $350K. Individual orders (calls) placed under the BPA are expected to remain at or below the Micro-Purchase Threshold (MPT), currently set at $15K, unless otherwise authorized by the Contracting Officer.
