Description
In accordance with Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to contract on a single source basis for name-brand “Starline” Busway System. The FAA intends to compete the requirement among the following companies:

DVL, Inc.
Starline Holdings LLC

The aforementioned companies were provided by Starline as the only approved resellers for Atlantic City, NJ.

The FAA has a requirement to procure a new Starline overhead busway distribution system and associated overhead busway modules for the VoICE Laboratory at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, NJ. Accordingly, the FAA has identified (1) authorized reseller/distributor and as such will conduct a limited competition only amongst the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and their authorized reseller/distributor.
